The Foutley home is located in Sheltered Shrubs, Connecticut. It is the house where Ginger, Carl, and Lois Foutley reside in. In The Wedding Frame, the family moved to a new house and the home became the new residence of the Griplings.
Description[]
The house has a beige color on the outside with two windows on each side of the front door. There is a light post in the front yard. The backyard has a swing set, and Carl's doghouse located next to the detached garage. In Heat Lightning, the house is revealed to not have central air-conditioning; Carl wants to buy window A/C units, but Lois says that the home's aging electrical system could not handle the extra load (In this episode, Carl ends up buying a window unit secondhand from a thrift store for $97, installing it in the doghouse, and plugging it into an outlet at the The Gripling Mansion over a mile away using several extension cords).
The house was probably built in the 1940s or 1950s (maybe 1960s), and vaguely resembles a "Levittown" tract home; One noteworthy feature of the house indicating it is probably older is the presence of brass radiators instead of forced air ducts or even smaller baseboard heaters.
The house does not seem to have a basement, as indicated by the presence of the water heater in the kitchen, and the large amounts of boxes and junk in the detached garage and up in the attic.

Carl's room has a bunk bed with no bottom bunk. He also has a refrigerator, a small cabinet, a table, a computer, a bookshelf and a closet.
Lois' room is located on the first floor; It has a queen sized bed with two green lamp posts on

each side. She has an exercise bicycle set along with a TV and an alarm clock. Her bathroom has a large amount of makeup in it as seen in Kiss and Make-up.

The kitchen has a round dark green table with four chairs. The
refrigerator is also green. There are cabinets with food and dishes in them. The oven is next to the refrigerator. There is also a phone in the kitchen. The water heater is located in the kitchen, presumably because the house does not have a basement.
