In The Right Stuff, he comes to Mrs. Berger's class to have a word with her. She agrees and tells her students to study their verbs quietly. In Deja Who?, he made a brief appearance in the cafeteria to watch Senator Ricci and his son Michael with Ginger posing as Courtney.
In Butterflies Are Free, he stands on stage at the auditorium as he talks to future students. He starts out by saying they have zero tolerance for harassment of any nature. He says students will be expected to maintain no less than a B average to participate in any extra curricular activities. He then says unexplained and excessive absenteeism will be grounds for suspension. He goes to on to say they are proud to announce the arrival of the school's very first soda machine. The soda machine will installed in the cafeteria. The students will need exact change for the machine. He says students with last names e through i will follow Mr. Puttnam. Students j through o will go with Ms. Sullivan who he says is lovely. Those students will meet her in the back.
In Kiss Today Goodbye, he stands in front of students and adults at the football game. He says lastly no feeding peanuts to the goat during halftime. He stats that Chewy is getting chunky. Mr. Minor gets caught in act with a guilty look on his face. A student comes up to him a gives him a piece of paper. He reads the letter out loud which was Macie's way of breaking up with Andrew. He tells the students this is not a chat room.
In Battle of the Bands, he turns off the TV in his office. He asks Shirley to have Mr. Grundig come see him and call their lawyer. He tells Ginger to continue. After Ginger makes her case, Coach Guardino asks to speak. Principal Erickson gives him permission. Guardino displays how the stain resistant uniforms work. Erickson thinks he makes a compelling argument. Ginger says all he did was show them the uniforms are stain resistant which they all knew about. Erickson says if she can get 400 student signatures he might be able to take her case to the superintendent. He asks if Ginger is in the music program. Ginger responds by saying she's emotionally invested.
