Mr. Patterson is the father to both Will Patterson and Darren Patterson, and the husband to Mrs. Patterson. He is a recurring character throughout the series.
History[]
Not much is known about Mr. Patterson as he appears frequently as a background character. However, he is seen to be a "jock" as he is tried to toughen up Darren by sending him to a military academy during the summertime. Mr. Patterson is also known to give frequent noogies to Darren when he is proud of him or when he's embarrassed, he even gave Ginger a noogie after her dynamite performance in "Hello Stranger".
Appearance[]
Mr. Patterson, like most character throughout the series, changes his clothes when he is seen in a different episode or sequence. He is an African-American with brown hair on the sides while being bald on the top. He also has a brown mustache.
Trivia[]
- His "jock" traits have rubbed off on his eldest son, Will, as he gives Darren frequent noogies and even bothers him from time-to-time but he cares about Darren very much.
