Mr. Cilia is a teacher at Lucky Jr. High. He was voiced by the late Lewis Arquette.

History []

In Dare I, Darren?, he addresses the class by telling them to settle down. He then pulls down an overhead projector and says they will be watching something that wasn't nominated for any awards. He says it should've been and he says the main character is someone they can all relate to. He turns off the lights and the video starts. As the video continues, he notices Ginger laughing after Darren gave her a note. Ginger then apologizes.

In The 'A' Ticket, Dodie fears that she got Mr. Cilia for chemistry. Ginger claims that he's the greatest. Dodie, however, claims that he's the toughest and says that Ginger is like his class pet. Mr. Cilia shows up behind them and asks Ginger how is his favorite student of all time. Ginger says she hopes to get him for chemistry. He chuckles and walks away. Ginger claims she was being polite. She opens the letter and she does have him for chemistry. Darren says he has him, too.

Later in his class, he introduces the students to the world of chemistry. He decides to pair up the students in lab teams. He says that teaming up with someone new may force you to think outside the box. He pairs Dodie with Courtney. Courtney asks if she can reconsider, but he asks her a rhetorical question. She realizes that it's a no. He pairs Miranda with Macie. He also pairs up Darren with Ben Tucker. He lastly pairs Ginger with Ian.

He watches his class as the students are working. When Darren accidentally knocks over one of his test tubes, Mr. Cilia takes care of it by cleaning it up. Later in the episode, he tells Ginger and Ian that they are the most successful partnership he's seen in years. He says they're on the road to an 'A'. The next day, he gives the students an in-class practical exam. He mentions that it's worth 15% of their overall grade. He tells everyone to do their best. After some time has passed, he checks on the students.

In Piece of My Heart, he tells the class that the school board has decided that there's enough money to keep the dissection of a pig's heart in their cirriculum. He says the faint of heart can write a report instead which he is referring to Macie. She says her sense of stomach lining thanks him. The next day in class, Ginger gives Mr. Cilia a pen. He asks if she told Carl that he can't buy him. Ginger says only about a million times. He says tell him he said thanks and he looks forward to having him as a student. He puts the pen in his coat pocket. Ginger is heard on radio saying he may live to regret those words.

Later in the episode, he can be heard on a radio that Carl, Hoodsey and Blake are listening to. He can be heard talking to a delivery man bringing in the pig's heart. He tells the guy to put it in the cafeteria's freezer with his name on it because Chef Bob is known for his broad definition of luncheon meats.

In Next Question, he is mentioned by Macie when she responds to Ginger about Mr. Gardner. She says she can't look at Mr. Cilia anymore without looking at his long grey tufts.
