Deja Who? is the fifteenth episode of the first season which was broadcast on March 4, 2001.

Courtney gets food poisoning on the same week that she's supposed escort the Senator's son to school and convince him to enroll there. She gets Ginger to pretend she's Courtney. Talking, walking, dressing, and socializing just as Courtney does are only some of the things expected of her.

Dodie and Macie become jealous after Ginger gets too caught up in her new inner circle of friends and leaves them behind. Since Ginger is Courtney, Ginger is marked absent for the whole week which frustrates Lois. Hoodsey has a bad fall and gets amnesia. He becomes "Rob" and doesn't seem to want to rekindle his friendship with Carl and becomes friends with Brandon, much to the pleasure of Mrs. Bishop.

Courtney: Hm. I hear the students at Chaplin Junior High have their food fights catered.

Ginger: (impersonating Courtney) I just don't want to chip my nail polish. It's funky raspberry. (Phone rings) Lois: Something's funky all right.

Ginger: (On TV) I may be Courtney Gripling, but I'm no snob! Courtney: (At home) But I am a snob! I am!

Miranda: (Snickering) Well, looks like I was right. (Gesturing towards Ginger) Courtney really called this one wrong, didn't she, Ginger? Ginger: You know, Ginger sounds great, even when you say it, Miranda.

Ginger: So, I guess I just cracked under the pressure. I'm really sorry. Courtney: No need to apologize. Ginger: You mean...You're not mad? Courtney: Ginger, after a serious moment of self reflection, I've made a very important discovery. There's only one person in the world that can be Courtney Gripling, me!

  • The title of the episode is a play on the French expression  "Déjà vu", which means "already seen".
