Synopsis[]
During a routine fire drill, Dodie accidentally tells Miranda that Ginger isn't allowed to shave her legs. Miranda uses this as blackmail to get Ginger to do her homework and, of course, to stay away from Courtney Gripling. Meanwhile, Carl puts together an all-hair ensemble and becomes Wolf Boy. Miranda starts giving Ginger her homework and if that she didn’t do it she would tell Ginger‘s secret to everyone in the whole school. After being pushed around by Miranda for the last few days, The first attempt of getting rid of her leg hair, Ginger tried to shave at Dodie's house but just as she’s about to have the razor touch her leg, Joann Bishop tells Ginger that her mom called and that she wants her home.
Ginger begs Lois to let her shave her legs. Lois says no because she doesn’t want Ginger to cut herself while shaving. The second time she tries getting rid of her leg hair by using her mom’s tweezers but it hurts and decided not to use them because she used them to pluck a tick off Carl. Then Dodie throws the tweezers out of Ginger’s bedroom window, shortly after Miranda comes over to make Ginger do her book report on “Call of the Wild”. The next day Dodie tries to wax Ginger’s legs but she screams after Dodie pulls the wax strips off and Lois asks her what was the screaming was about. Ginger lies and says that she just saw a spider.
Later that night, the girls ask Carl for help. Carl points out that Lois said she can’t shave her legs, but she never said anything about shaving her ankles. He explains that shaving Ginger’s ankles wouldn’t be breaking their mom’s rule. Carl uses a dog grooming razor to shave Ginger’s ankles. Ginger is amazed that Carl was able to do a great job. The next day in homeroom, Miranda tells Ginger that she wants Ginger to do her math problems for her but she shows her her hairless ankle when she’s wearing a pair of clam digger capris and lets Ginger off the hook but tries to get Dodie to do her homework and Ginger stands up to her and Miranda sits at her desk. Courtney comes in the classroom and compliments Ginger on her clam digger capris, Ginger thanks her for the compliment and Courtney tells her that Ginger had three more days of the cold shoulder treatment but the rule can be broken if Courtney gives a fashion compliment. Ginger is relieved and waits for homeroom to start.

Trivia[]
- Dodie reveals that Ginger loves smiley faced pajamas and has an irrational fear of the tooth fairy.
- The fire alarm signal at Lucky Jr. High is an older-style horn (similar to a scoreboard buzzer horn), in a rare example where a school fire alarm in the media is a horn rather than a bell (which was once common with older school buildings in real life but is nowadays rare, as many old fire alarm bell systems have since been replaced with modern horn/strobes or "voice evacuation"), as do many other Nickelodeon shows depicting fire alarms (such as another Klasky-Csupo Nicktoon, Rocket Power).
- Miranda’s line “Let me pretend I care. Okay, I’m done.” has become a popular internet meme.
- Ginger’s other option for getting rid of her leg hair would have been epilating. Epilating is safer than shaving. Lois never said Ginger couldn’t epilate her legs.
